Description:

In 1976, Erma’s book The Grass is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank was published. This book would become a smash hit, spawning a made for TV movie starring Carol Burnett. This movie in turn would give Erma the opportunity to write her own sitcom, titled Maggie.
